How could anyone say no to these three?
It’s no secrete how much I love Hampi, India, as I can’t say enough good things about this small little village. I stayed there long enough to get to know some of the families there. I even put in a full days hard work in an banana plantation (somewhat), I chilled on the beautiful rocks and even partied away with some of the locals. To me Hampi is a place I loved getting lost in.
One day a local man invited me a friend to lunch at his house. He said his wife wanted to cook us a special meal and for me you never say no to free food, it’s rule #1 when traveling! When we finally found his home the three girls in the photo above came running up to us and insisted we take their photograph. I snapped a few shots as I couldn’t say no to them. I showed them the LCD screen on the back of the camera and they just giggled while tugging at each others arm every time I changed the photo.
The kids in Hampi were some of the best in all of India but I did have to watch out for large groups of them because sometimes they got out of hand with excitement. Click here to know what I mean but in the end I have nothing but fond memories of Hampi and I can’t wait to go back someday!
