There isn’t to much to say about this photo, other then it’s a photograph I like because of the color and subject matter. I shot it in Hampi, India when out on a roaming search of the ruins around the city by motorbike. I say “roaming search” because I had no set plans and just liked driving around on a motorbike with no plan of anything, just driving to be driving. So when I passed this site I finally stopped and decided it was time to see what was inside.
I guess you could call Vitthala Temple Hampi’s most famous tourist site but to be honest I don’t think it was. Mainly because it’s one of the three temples you have to pay to see and since there are only like 50 temples around Hampi I can’t justify it. It’s claim to fame is a stone chariot cart in the middle of the courtyard that everyone has to get a photo. Lucky for me the day I went no one was around and I was able to explore in peace. When photographing ruins I actually like to be by myself rather then with other people. Is that bad on my part?
