Soulard Farmers Market with Some Music
When I went home this last year in Missouri, USA, I went to visit some friends in the city of St. Louis just before I left for India. They took me around the city for a day to show me some parts I hadn’t seen before. First stop was Soulard Farmers Market and it was the first time I felt like I wasn’t in the US when actually there.
The market is like being at a European or South American market, as focus is put heavily on how you display your veggies, fruits or meats. The saxophone guy above was standing outside by the entrance playing a tune for change. He was rather good so I tossed him a few coins after listing to him for about five minutes. I asked if he minded if I took a photograph of him playing and he just handed me a business card and said “No problem, I play for everyone!”
