The power of one kid!
When in Nepal I decided to leave the overly crowded city of Kathmandu and head for Pokhara. I had been told it was a nice little city that was laid back and a great place to start from if your wanting to explore the mountains of Nepal. I met a Yoga master who invited me to do a trek to his home village some 3hrs away. How could I refuse?
The trek kicked my butt but once we got to the top of the mountain where the village was, I quickly got my camera out and walked around the 10 houses there, seeing if I could snap a few photographs of it’s people. Hardly any tourists ever go to this mountain village and I got some strange stares when walking around. People were friendly but shy, even the kids were which surprised me, all except this baby!
He was with 6 other kids playing on a porch, all under the age of 5 I would say. None of the kids wanted their photos taken or were to shy but they were very interested in looking at my camera and seeing photographs of others. So I held my camera at this little guy and he started laughing like this. I snapped a photo and put the camera down but noticed he stopped laughing. When I held the camera back up he started laughing again. This happened over and over for the next 5 minutes and by the time it was over with, all the kids wanted their photograph taken and even the mother had came out to have hers taken.
