“Mach’s artistic style is based on flowing assemblages of mass-produced found art objects. Typically these include magazines, vicious teddy bears, newspapers, car tires, match sticks and coat hangers. Many of his installations are temporary and constructed in public spaces.” ~ Wikipedia
My Thoughts:
I stumbled onto this guys work and was struck by the bold colors in it. Then the more I looked at it the more into the detail I got. Anyways, I’m always a sucker for stuff that catches easily on fire and it was great to know that at the end of each showing he likes to light one of his sculptors up. I sometimes think artists take their pieces to serious and was refreshing to see that he doesn’t as much. Some work is best left unsaid and I think his work speaks for its self. Be sure to see some of his other sculptors as well, as it’s nothing like the the Match Series.
